GreenHouse is a diverse, multi-generational intentional Christian community located in Jamaica Plain, Boston. We seek to live according to the teachings of Jesus, encouraging one another in the lives God has called us to in this city. Our community consists of four townhouses, with families and singles sharing common spaces. We value diversity and a spirit of mutual support in our shared life together.
A room will be available in a 5-bedroom house from August 1, 2025, to July 31, 2026. Rent is $1,020/month, which includes utilities. The home is shared with a married couple and two single housemates (one male, one female). The available room is located on the second floor and shares a bathroom with the two singles. Common areas on the first floor are shared by all.
The married couple resides on the third floor and serves as the Anchor Couple, whose primary role is to foster a welcoming and safe environment in the home. They help facilitate caring communication and coordinate periodic shared meals with housemates.
The location is excellent—just 5 minutes from the Orange Line and local bus stops, close to Jamaica Pond and restaurants on Center Street, with hardwood floors and easygoing roommates.
