Cello Teacher – Join & Grow With Klassical Kidz Music Studio

Klassical Kidz Music Studio | Arlington, MA
Weekend Teaching Position | $30–$50/hour, based on education and experience

Klassical Kidz Music Studio is looking for a warm, skilled, and dedicated cello teacher to join our teaching team and help us build a thriving weekend cello program within our established studio.

We are especially interested in finding someone who is looking for more than simply a few teaching hours. We would love to welcome a teacher who connects with our educational philosophy, cares deeply about students, and is excited by the opportunity to grow with the studio and develop a full studio of cello students over time.

At Klassical Kidz, we believe music education should develop the whole musician. Strong technique and musical literacy matter, but so do creativity, artistry, confidence, independence, ensemble skills, and a lifelong love of music. We strive to provide serious, thoughtful music education in an environment that is warm, encouraging, and responsive to each individual student.

The Position

Our cello teacher will primarily teach on the weekend, with the opportunity to build toward a full weekend teaching schedule as enrollment grows.

The studio will handle the administrative side of running the program, including:

  • Student enrollment and scheduling
  • Tuition and billing
  • Parent communication regarding studio policies and logistics
  • Marketing and promotion of the cello program
  • General studio administration

This allows our teachers to focus their time and energy where it matters most: teaching, mentoring, and making music with their students.

We’re Looking for a Teacher Who…

  • Is an accomplished cellist with a strong musical foundation
  • Enjoys working with children and young musicians
  • Is a thoughtful, patient, encouraging teacher
  • Values strong technique, musicianship, and musical understanding
  • Believes in helping students become confident, independent musicians
  • Communicates professionally and warmly with students, families, and colleagues
  • Is dependable and interested in becoming a consistent part of our studio community
  • Is excited about helping to build and shape a growing cello program, rather than simply filling an existing teaching schedule

A degree in music, music education, cello performance, or a related field is preferred, although we are happy to consider candidates with a variety of educational and professional backgrounds. Compensation will reflect the teacher’s training and experience.

Compensation

$30–$50 per hour, based on qualifications, education, and teaching experience.

About Klassical Kidz

Klassical Kidz Music Studio has been teaching young musicians since 2009. Our goal is not simply to teach students how to play an instrument, but to give them the skills, understanding, confidence, and love of music that can stay with them for a lifetime.

We care deeply about maintaining a studio culture where excellent teaching and high musical standards exist alongside warmth, creativity, encouragement, and genuine relationships with students and families.

For the right teacher, we hope this can become a meaningful long-term position with room to grow alongside the studio.

If this sounds like the kind of teaching community you would enjoy being part of, we would love to hear from you.
