I live in a 2bed 2bath apartment in Wakefield, and my roommate will be moving out April 1st. Rent is $1000/month and your half of the utilities/internet ranges from about $60-$160/month. We have in-unit laundry, free parking, a small attached balcony, lovely neighbors (no noise or smoke issues), and the owner only just* raised the rent for the first time since I moved in 5 years ago (and only $100/each). He’s the most attentive and considerate landlord I’ve ever had – he cares more about having reliable tenants than making a massive profit. Because of this, I am hoping whoever moves in has an intention of staying longer than a year.

The bedroom is unfurnished, but the living room is fully furnished and kitchen has full dishware/utensils (there is room in the cupboards for more if you’re bringing your own).

Hosting is a big part of my cultures (Spanish/Lebanese) so I welcome the space being used for guests and gatherings. Even though my furniture is in the living room, I want my roommate to feel comfortable using the space themselves or with their own guests.

I host seasonal parties and decorate for Autumn and Christmas, so I’m looking for someone who is comfortable with parties (they are not debaucherous, but can be boisterous), and decorations (I get a real Christmas tree every year and basically turn the living room into the North Pole for the entire month of December

Move-in date is also flexible – I’m preparing to cover April in case I can’t find a good match in time. So if later in April or May 1st works better for you, that’s also an option.
