Description
We are looking for someone who can stay with our family for the long term! Dad works outside the home, and Mom works from home. Our older child is 4 years old and will usually be at preschool during the day.
- Location: Cambridge, MA — about a 10-minute walk from Central Square Station
- Start Date: November 6, 2026
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Pay: Negotiable. Please let us know your desired hourly rate.
- Primary responsibility: Caring for our 5-month-old baby. Once our 4-year-old finishes preschool at 4:00 PM, we would also like you to care for both children.
Responsibilities
- Changing diapers
- Playing and interacting with the baby through age-appropriate activities (tummy time, library sing along, etc)
- Keeping the baby’s areas clean and sanitary
- Feeding pumped breastmilk to the baby, burping, and running the bottle-washing/sanitizing machine
- Washing and drying baby clothes, burp cloths, and other baby-related laundry
- Caring for our 4-year-old during the hours when they are home
Requirements / Preferences
- References are preferred
- Non-smoker required
