Looking for Quiet, Safe Place

Hello, I am looking for a small apartment, or space, that meets the following criteria:

• QUIET, safe area, close to a train or bus
• Private bathroom, and ideally, private entrance
• No carpet, smokers,
• Could pay around $1,500 per month; might go slightly higher for the right place

I am currently not in the Boston area, but would like to move there ASAP

I used to work in healthcare, but that ended recently, due to budgeting issues

• I have more than several years of savings, and it would be possible to pay 3+ months in advance if needed
• I am a quiet female professional; pretty boring (work, sleep, repeat)
• I don’t smoke and have a clean record

I am not looking to pay any broker/property fees.
