A Faith + Art conference is coming to Boston this October 23 & 24! The folks behind HopeWords and Painters, Prophets, Poets are bringing Malcolm Guite to our city for an enchanted two days of “poetry, song, and cheer.”
For the first time, Malcolm is curating a conference, titled “Lifting the Veil” (after his book of the same name), and will essentially be a presentation of his life’s work, well-summarized in “the imagination as a truth-bearing faculty.” In partnership with The Rabbit Room, Inkwell, Common Good Magazine, & Square Halo Books, we will travel “from Camelot to Boston,” as Malcolm teaches and performs along with friends and fellow artists from throughout his career as a poet, musician, songwriter, and collaborator extraordinaire! Steve Bell, Bruce Herman, Stephen Crotts to name a few.
There will be music, print-making, an art gallery, poetry-in-the-round performances, and a reading from Malcolm’s first volume in his four-part Arthurian series, “Galahad and the Grail,” recently reviewed with much acclaim in the London Times.
