One of our roommates is getting married and moving on, so we’re looking to fill a bedroom in a 3-bedroom apartment in Cambridge. The move-in date is flexible/negotiable, and could range from pre-Sept 1 up to mid-November. Rent will be somewhere between $1150 and $1250, depending on how we sort out the parking situation. The move-in costs will be first month’s rent and security deposit (we did not pay last month’s rent up-front). Please reach out if you’re interested!
We have one available room in a 3-bed apartment. The apartment is on the first floor and basement, and we have two floors of upstairs neighbors above us. The main floor has 3 bedrooms, a bathroom, the kitchen, and a living/dining space. The basement has a second kitchen, a full second bathroom, a second fridge, a large living area (with our ping pong table), a large storage room, and our in-unit washer and dryer. We also have one garage stall that will become available for a small additional fee (street parking in Cambridge is $25 per year for a permit). Our landlord does a pretty good job of being responsive when issues pop up, and we don’t have any major complaints after our first year here.
The available bedroom is fairly large for Cambridge, has a closet, and currently has a window A/C unit, which may be available from the current tenant.
You will have two male roommates, both engineers. One is a late 20’s recent PhD grad, who enjoys board games, baking, and any kind of sports. One is in his early 20’s, and he enjoys rock climbing, hiking, and being outdoors. Both of us regularly attend different churches on Sundays. Neither of us work from home very often. We’re down to hang out and play games as a house, but also respect each other’s desires to have some quiet time to unwind. We’re both on a BSSC kickball team that is actively recruiting additional members, and we’d love to have you join. We’ll occasionally host friends to hang out or have a few drinks, but we do our best to be respectful of each other’s space and time.
We’re located on Marney street, right next to Donnelly field, which is a great spot to play games or go sit and relax. It’s a quick walk to some very good restaurants, and not too far to multiple T stops. It’s a pretty quiet street for the most part, and usually we don’t have too many problems finding parking. We really like the location, and are super excited to be staying for another year.
