One large room is available for rent in a lovely Victorian home near downtown Everett, MA on September 1, 2025. The room can come partially furnished or unfurnished. The room comes with hardwood floors, 4 windows and a built-in dresser in the closet. Partially furnished would mean a queen bed, dresser, desk and desk chair.
We are looking for someone who needs a place to call home, who wants to live in community, and who isn’t allergic to cats!
Move-in could be the weekend prior either on August 30 or August 31.
Most of the common spaces in the house and kitchen are for everyone’s use and come furnished.
The home is owned and occupied by a couple. In addition, a creative, easy-going woman in her early 30’s (who hosts an ongoing D&D event twice monthly!) is going on her 3rd year here.
Rent is $950 per month. Utilities separate. Water paid by landlord. Gas, electric and internet, on average, approx. $150 per month with ranges from $75 to $275 depending on time of year.
The main home boasts over 3000 sq ft with the following features:
First floor: Living room, dining room, large kitchen, breakfast area, 1/2 bath and sunroom.
Second floor: Three large-sized bedrooms, library nook and recently renovated full bath. A private master bedroom suite with full bath.
Basement: Entire footprint of the house with 1/4 bath, two sets of shared washers and dryers, and tons of storage space.
Parking: There is on-street parking with resident sticker.
Backyard: Nice size for lawn parties. Large deck with deck furniture and propane grill.
Garage: Space to store bicycles
Maintenance: Lawn care is included as well as required snow removal.
House is in good condition with new exterior paint, a good roof, new replacement windows, hardwood floors, several pocket doors, beautiful mahogany trim work, high ceilings, and a new gas heating system.
Appliances: Included are two large refrigerators in the kitchen and one refrigerator in the basement, disposal, dishwasher, microwave and gas stove.
Transportation: 1/4 block from Broadway where different bus lines go to the Orange Line at either Wellington Station or Sullivan Street or Logan Aiport. Thirty-minute commute to downtown. Or change buses at Sullivan Station and be at Tufts or Harvard in 30+ minutes.
